Millie went to Nana and Papa's house for the weekend with the kids (Mark and I went to Harrison Hot Springs). Millie is very welcome at their home, my parents both enjoying her very much. Millie went immediately out to the backyard when we arrived. I suppose she was thirsty,because the kids started to yell: "Millie's drinking from the pond!!!"
The pond is full of fish, and has a good amount of algae too (It's spring - Dad hasn't scrubbed the pond yet). I was relieved to see that she wasn't in the pond, but at the top of the waterfall where the water is surely cleaner! Well, the water gets pumped through, but at least my dog stays cleaner at the top!
You may note the copper mushrooms behind Millie... Dad found those last summer on Ile d'Orleans, just off Quebec City. He LOVED this things and had them shipped back home. As it's his garden and his money, there is no accounting for taste here!
