Mark's much older brother celebrated his birthday this past Saturday - and drove all the way up from Seattle to spend the day and have supper with US!
Blake & Nancy's families were to come up for Canadian Thanksgiving, but that didn't work out, so we postponed until the 25th. Mark, Blake and the 3 big kids went off to play Laser Tag (a favourite activity). Uncle Brian took the 3 little kids (I'm sorry Gracie - I know you're big!) for Gelato. That left Lou-Anne (poor Lou-Anne, allergic to our puppy), Nancy (poor Nancy, bad cold and twisted ankle) and I to man the fort. It is so nice to spend time together... and I love that we're only 2 hours apart.
Instead of cake this year, Blake got Pumpkin Pie... I was hoping this shot would show Shalynn's very special new ring, but alas, I'll have to catch a pic of that some other time!
The best laugh was that Shalynn thought her dad was turning 50!!!
