Retreating

I had the opportunity to go to Harrison Hot Springs last week for our church's Ladies Retreat. It was great: excellent speakers, awesome worship, times of prayer and meditation, and super friends to connect with! (Pictured here: Andi with baby Sam, Anne & Cara Lee, Darcey my roomate). The venue was perfect - so nice to enjoy Harrison in the fall.

Diane Neumann spoke about "The Heart of the Matter", and I was really touched by her story of reconciliation and restoration in her family's life. Susan Buzza spoke on overcoming fear - she was hilarious, down to earth - and left everyone with tears in their eyes. I've known both these women for years, and am friends with their daughters, but it's often we get to hear how God has worked and is working in their lives.

My dear friend Michelle shared about her journey to the depths this past year, and how God has lifted her up. She commented to me: "Erin, God really loves me!" He did indeed reveal His love and power in her life this weekend!

I so appreciate the work Ingrid and her team put in to planning this great retreat!
