Hard to believe our little freckle-faced boy has turned 7! He had his birthday 2 weeks ago, but we delayed his party due to too many other friends' parties in his life! (Too much birthday cake can be overwhelming!)We celebrated with a few of his church and soccer buddies at Jungle Jac's this past Saturday. This was a great place for a party, and Josh had a ton of fun playing indoor soccer and running around the jungle gym with his friends.
In the picture below, Josh is with his best friend James, who is only 17 hours younger than Josh. We were in the hospital together at birth, and they have been very close friends from the beginning. We are thankful for this friendship - which we pray will be life-long!
A little side note: James requested that instead of gifts for his birthday, his friends bring coins for the orphanage in Romania that our Kids church was raising money for, to purchase coats, gloves, toques & firewood. James and friends raised $212!
