How we beat the heat wave

We swam in the River with our cousins....

We had dinner at the lake with more family who popped into town...

We went to Groovy Girls mini-camp with Emily...

And we sat in the (much cooler) basement where we read stories and watched Prince Caspian (over and over and over again!) [Note: Millie really liked being held like that, with her back feet dangling off the sofa].
