Our trip to Prince George

The Wild West

I love the 4 day weekend we get each year at Easter. This year Mark took an extra 2 days off, we pulled Joshua & Lucy from their schools, and made the 9 hour trek north to the exotic locale of Prince George. Even at winter's end, our province is beautiful! We left the green of the Fraser Valley and drove through the Fraser Canyon (ask my kids how many times we say "THE MIGHTY FRASER!" as we travel over it) and into the Cariboo region, which looks like the wild west. By the time we get to Prince George, we are again amazed that this is only the middle of the province. Some day we will have to drive all the way to Alaska!

The weather was warm in Prince George, and after a Good Friday service, we took the kids bike riding along the Nechako River. Josh's favourite part of the trip was playing outside on a flat street with Noah: road hockey, basketball, soccer and more bike riding. Lucy loved playing with Zach, and giving Noah LOTS of hugs. "Lucy REALLY loves me!", Noah would exclaim.
